I'm bored with studying. So shall post a to-do list here so I can get my lazy procrastinating self to start working on this blog right after my exams! Come 5th Dec, I will be free.... temporarily.
1. Present for my giftee! First time taking part in Reddit Secret Santa and gotten my match today. Now I'm excited to start but can't because I have to do all my last minute mugging. Oh so painful. Got someone from Canada! That's so far away and shipping is gonna hurt! 500grams is like $38. Before this, I'm praying I don't get someone from USA, because the shipping is no joke. Well, Canada is cheaper, by $1.50 for 0.50kg. haha thats consoling. Wonder how "gentle" Canadian post is, maybe I should bubble wrap the hell out of my gift^^. Should search on canadian custom restrictions too. every country have their own weird import restriction, like Singapore and chewing gum. but i understand the chewing gum thingy. Singapore is scorching the whole year round, except the days orchard road is flooding. Imagine opening a box full of melted chewing gum. Nightmare!!
2. Posting all the Korea/Japan trip photos! all three-weeks worth! before my mac crashed and lose it all again and I get mentally murdered by my friends.
3. My doll's stuffs. need to shop for fabric to make a bedsheet and blanket for her. and pillows too, and maybe a bolster. Love bolsters, have two on my bed. It's fabric shopping time after exams! Will make my way down to Chinatown and Arab street and hopefully no one attempts to con me. Especially when fabric is already so expensive! Then a couch/sofa for her, she's sitting on a tissue box now. that's just so sad. at it, maybe I make a wardrobe too, or clothes rack or something. After that, starting sewing clothes. Learn to use the sewing machine! simple ones first. It will work out somehow, it involves hands, not brains, how hard can it be!
Recently Ringdoll posted a video competition with cool prizes to be won. Maybe I can take part in it, since my girl is a Ringdoll. woohoo. It will give me motivation to do something "concrete". Maybe I shall do a stop-motion video. but how do you do a stop-motion video?? Haha. oh, it seems complicated, what am I getting myself into again. If I am doing it, I will do it good! Cos anything to be posted on public better not be an embarrassment to me! Wahahaha. Plus I can win another doll. Haha, so cool so cool. Mum will scream at me.
4. Christmas presents for friends. Or not, we may not even meet. everyone seems so busy, except me who is still stuck in misery aka school. Somehow my meeting with friends seem to be decreasing, especially after they start graduating and working, and/or finding boyfriends. It's depressing. It's worse with my mum nagging at me about finding a boyfriend at every single chance she gets. Oh don't talk about the older ladies aka relatives. Chinese New Year next year will be a nightmare.
Maybe I should make presents for the few very close ones, like 3. haha and those poor souls overseas. Afterall, sihui's ever-belated totoro project is still in my room. I got a great idea for it. The totoro I made is so cute, I won't give her till I managed to duplicate a similar one. Only the first I made is successful, whatever other copies just ended up in a disaster. When I'm at it, I shall make one for my giftee for SS, cos she likes Ghibli. Hooray! Ideas are coming!
5. Start on my very own dollhouse! Always wanted a dollhouse, but never had a chance. Now I'm older and more crafty and the house is bigger than the old one and my dad is free like nobody business to help with wood, I SHALL MAKE ONE. wahahahhaha! ambitious project! Just thinking of it makes me excited. Wonder how long it takes to make this! probably take me years before I even finish just the structure. start small start small! Maybe I'll just do a room first? Dad can make a display box for me with scrap wood and glass. wheehee.
6. (Of no priority) Do something to the layout of this blog! haha. I doubt anyone is reading so it doesn't matter? But the black is giving a headache. It's depressing, and so not me. why did I choose this anyway in the first place?!
7. (Of no priority) Pack my room, or at least my workspace. Hahahaha this is impossible.
Seems like a lot of things to do! And i already promised to help out my university's lab during the holidays! Well, it will all work out somehow^^ Okay its 6:30, time's up, back to studying!
